West Shore | Private Residence.

A modest passive house concept located on a hillside site in the Okanagan. The project explores a compact black box form set into the slope, using a restrained material palette, simple massing, and carefully framed openings to create privacy, outlook, and a quiet relationship with the landscape.

The design is intentionally minimal: a dark upper volume rests over a more grounded lower level, allowing the house to feel both protected and elevated. The project sits within the Product Of archive as a residential study focused on efficiency, atmosphere, site response, and architectural restraint.
